The UF-4USB2 Series 4-Port USB 2.0 Extender via Fiber Optic Cable extends four USB 2.0 devices up to 20km using a single LC single mode fiber optic cable. Each extender consists of a local unit (Receiver) that connects to a computer, and a remote unit (Transmitter) that connects to four USB devices. The local and remote units are interconnected via a single-strand LC 9-micron single mode fiber optic cable.
The USB2.0 Fiber Optic Extender uses a special USB PHY to meet the requirements of USB2.0 protocol, and uses 1.25Gbps SFP to complete the photoelectric conversion and realize the stable transmission of USB2.0 signal.
The USB2.0 Fiber Optic Extender consists of a transmitter and a receiver that provides 5V power through the host USB 2.0 type A connector, the transmitter is powered by an external power supply and supplies power to the USB2.0 device through the USB2.0 A type connector.
